f00bar80is Aldiko incompatible with Froyo ? if it's so which epub reader you suggest ??11:39

rpierce99lotjuh: reading logs, your symptoms sound an awful lot like GPS is enabled in loc & sec, once it's used (browser opened, maps, basically any loc enabled app, it never turns off and drains your battery, even after the icon goes away11:56
emweyap, sounds like the froyo issue #1 ;)11:56

Detulerpierce99: i like your "led on only when screen off/not in suspend" idea12:08
rpierce99can't take credit for it, someone else suggested it I just liked it enough to repeat it12:08
Detuleit's strange after months with green/orange not seeing anything on....12:09
rpierce99yeah it would probably freat people out if it went in without notice :)12:09
emweheh, running that setup on .35 :P12:10
rpierce99people said they didn't like it because orange/green sods aren't the same, but really i haven't had a sod in months12:11
Detulestill the same i guess, now it's a orange/no_led sod12:12
Detule(though i haven't had an sod for a long time as well)12:12
rpierce99true, green is just replace with nothing12:12
rpierce99and once the led is off..... we can maybe look at notifications12:13
Detuleyeah i have notification working thanks to emwe12:14
emwe;)12:14
emweand i got extusb headset back working12:14
Detulethough working should perhaps be in quotation marks because of liblights12:15
Detulei see the hd2 people have a pretty robust version of liblights up on gitorious12:15
emweours isn't clean, but does it's job imho. what issues do you see?12:15
emwethere's something broken since frx07... but that seems to stem from userland.12:15
emwetook me a while to get it a bit straight on gb again. haven't looked into froyo issue, yet.12:16
Detuleer well, i thought about asking you why is there no blink file for our leds12:17
Detuleliblights seems to want to write to it12:17
Detulehttp://gitorious.org/linux-on-qualcomm-s-msm/hardware_msm7k/blobs/froyo/liblights/lights.c#line7512:18
emweyou need to create an attribute file for the led in question same as i did for the auto-backlight attribute to lcd-backlight led device12:18
emweoh, then i need to add that it seems ;)12:18
Detuleyeah i thought about adding it, would you add it here: https://gitorious.org/linux-msm-rhod/linux-msm-rhod/blobs/htc-msm-2.6.39/include/linux/leds.h#line3112:20
emweadd in what way?12:25
emwenow i haven't done any blink stuff yet, but would it suffice to just set a blink_set* hook and the led classdevice auto creates a blink file?12:25
emwei'd think so. never tried.12:25
Detulemight be so12:26
emweoh then it's super easy.12:26
emwenow let me first sort the 35mm/h2w stuff ;)12:26
*** sigma6 has quit IRC12:26
lotjuhrpierce99: that's what I was suspecting as well12:47
rpierce99we should disable GPS by default12:48
lotjuhI just gave up running android on this phone, gonna see if I can get a Desire Z instead12:48

f00bar80is Aldiko incompatible with Froyo ? if it's so which epub reader you suggest ??13:05
emwef00bar80: if nobody answers, nobody knows it.13:05
emweDetule: lucky .39 bastards. .35 led_classdev hasn't these attributes, yet :)13:06
emwewell it has blink_set but one needs to keep track of it...13:06
*** virsys has joined #xdandroid13:12
*** knchris has joined #xdandroid13:14
Detuleemwe: err your led_classdev looks pretty similar to .39 at first glance13:36
Detuleboth lacking a "blink" attribute13:36
Detulealso emwe i was wondering what's the advantage of using schedule_work in your callbacks13:39

emweDetule: they are used to delay the real work (microp/i2c writes may block) to a separate thread, making the hooks exit fast.14:56
emwei think there were some known problems in the old microp-klt when it comes to blocking i2c writes especially on resume/suspend.14:57

krissehi all17:28
krisseI have a small question on sdcard mounting for blackstone nand17:29
krisseI'm able to mount my sdcard manually without issues17:29
krissebut when booting into android the sdcard part stays unavailable17:29
krisseI do not see anything related to this in the logs :(17:30
krisseI debugged a bit and I see android uses vold to mount the partition17:30
krissewhen I check /sys/devices/platform ...17:31
krisseI see the files specified in the config file /etc/vold.fstab exist17:32
krissecan I somehow manually try to mount via /sys filesystem? or using vold?17:34
