cptajwelp, I'm gonna keep poking my nose around the code. see what I can learn15:42
cptajlil question though emwe: why did your kernels boot but the official one didn't even though I used the topaz mtype?15:44
emweCptaj there has been one year worth of changes to the kernel... so anything might be different since then.15:47
cptajI see. Is there a way I can look at the source of your kernel (the one that worked) so I can see whats different?15:49
emweAh sorry the official kernels ... likely monodie detection which doesnt detect it is one for the whitestone because some memory location value doesnt indicate monodie and so sets up dualdie which leads to unallowed memaccess which the arm cpu doesnt like.15:49
Detuleemwe: i guess you'll need to set config_latencytop before you can use that binary....i am curious once you get it running what kind of output you'll get on 35.....enjoy your vacation!15:50

Detulei apologize for the draft22:18
rpierce99you should, I really didn't want to go to war22:19
Detule:)22:19
cptajpoor guy, thought it was the NFL22:19
Detulesounds like my touchpad order is probably getting axed22:19
cptajat least he got to wear a helmet and armor22:19
Detuledamn i went from being a tablet basher to really wanting one in one weekend22:20
cptajtablets are awesome. the only problem is price22:20
cptajthat changed this weekend >_>22:20
Detuleeh i never really could figure out the use for them22:21
Detuletoo big to replace my phone and too small to replace my computer22:21
Detulei was wondering if there are any raph users around that wouldn't mind testing a kernel or two22:21
stinebdbut the perfect size for porn22:22
rpierce99stinebd: /disagree, 72"22:22
stinebdas the girls often say to me, that's too big22:23
stinebd(no they don't)22:23
cptajwork on the whitestone! I'll test all the kernels you want with a remarkable response time XD22:23
cptajI always wondered what it would be like to watch porn in a movie theater22:24
Detulesounds like whitestone needs more than meddlers like me, you should stick to emwe and his likes :)22:24
cptajwhere the nipples would be larger than your head22:24
stinebdno devs have a whitestone22:24
cptajthey should look at that as a challenge, heh22:25
cptajbesides, I changed a line of code today. That makes me a dev, doesn't it? =P22:26
stinebd@xdandroid.com makes you a dev22:26
Detuleonly if the device is moto astrix22:26
stinebdDetule: https://gitorious.org/atrix-aosp :P22:27
rpierce99cptaj: I have an entire app in the official bundle and I'm not a dev, sorry try again :P22:27
Detulestinebd, brave beginnings22:28
stinebdbeginnings?22:28
stinebdit's almost at parity with the dev team's CM port22:28
stinebdthe only thing it doesn't do yet is netflix22:28
stinebdand i'm just one dude with not enough alcohol22:29
Detuleyou've been hard at work, you obviously got your touchpad on time and are not clicking refresh x10/min22:29
cptajrpierce99: dont let them get you down. You're as dev as you feel, man!22:29
stinebdi'm not getting a touchpad22:29
* rpierce99 is not either22:30
Detulethe hysteria on #touchdroid was better than a night at the movies last night, it's probably still going on22:30
stinebdi spend my hard-earned money on life's necessities. gently used prophylactics and video games22:30
Detulewell once my order gets canceled i'll be as cool as you guys22:30
rpierce99yeah it's pages and pages of useless drivel, speculation, and trolling, absolutely no informed discussion or development whatsoever22:31
stinebdsounds like xdandroid22:31
rpierce99no, for xdandroid you'd have to remove the "pages and pages" part22:32
cptajI got the useless drivel part taken care of here, baby22:32
Detulenice stinebd, i wish i could see your commits i might learn a thing or two about porting asop22:35
stinebdmost of it was taken from nvidia's repositories and merged by hand to fit aosp22:35
stinebdso it retained their history, including authors22:36
Detulesounds tedious22:36
stinebdusing moto's stuff would've been tedious22:37
stinebdall you get from them is a few tarballs, no git or anything22:37
